Sandra Lee Chaney, 72, of Janesville passed away at her home Monday, April 23, 2012. She was born in Decatur, IL on September 6, 1939, the daughter of Virgil and Rose (Schunkwaller) Colbeck. She married James L. Chaney Sr. on March 17, 1956. Sandra was formerly employed as a C.N.A. and Medical Technologist. She enjoyed flowers,  crocheting, watching and whistling to the birds outside her home.
Surviving are her husband, James Chaney Sr., 2 children, Rosemary (Steve) Rittenhouse of Milton, James (Regina) Chaney Jr. of Janesville, 7 grandchildren, Jason, Brandon, Shane, Tom, Becky, Ben, Kim, 8 great-grandchildren, Gage, Samantha, Ethan, Alyssa, Meleah, Jennah, Paytin, Danica; 4 step-grandchildren, Ashley, Jared, Ryan and Tyler, 2 step great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Addisyn, 2 sisters, Betty and Virginia. She was preceded in death by 2 children, Katherine and Jimmie as well as her parents.
